How Easy is it to Use?
From
air filters to zoning controls, Advantage Comfort Pricing
covers all aspects of residential/light commercial HVAC repairs
and includes new technologies such as variable speed motors. The
field manuals are bound together in heavy duty, 7-ring solid composite
binders designed for years of field abuse. The manuals have
two levels of divider tabs that group related repair tasks together.
Printed on each group’s divider tab is a “quality assurance checklist”
listing various guidelines related to that group of repairs for
your technicians to follow. The technician can present this list
to the customer as a means of assuring the lengths that your company
goes to ensure quality workmanship.
Also printed on these tabs is a list of additional repairs that
may be required if a repair from that section is performed. This
helps reduce call-backs because a more thorough investigation
of the problem is performed. It also reminds your technician of
things to bring up when discussing service contracts, upgrading
their equipment, preventative maintenance, and additional repairs
they should consider.
After the technician locates the appropriate repair(s) needed,
repair notes provide specific information about each repair. Repair
notes may give a brief description of the procedure and cite relevant
materials that are or are not included with the repair so that the
technician does not have to call the office to clarify a repair
or search through a separate book for the information. Tasks are
clearly defined and explained in the field manual.
Large fonts and the use of color in the Advantage Comfort Pricing
Field Manuals make the repairs easy to read for both technicians
and customers—even those with “less than perfect” eye sight.
Pricing manuals are quick and easy to setup, and our friendly
support staff will help you every step of the way. After your custom
book is created, the information can be easily imported into
your accounting software*. Having custom data in your accounting
software simplifies and streamlines the work of your office staff.
When entering field invoices, they need only to key in the ID numbers
of the repair tasks that were performed. Description and price
information is automatically filled in—no more manual calculations
or looking up material prices from supplier invoices, and with a
common ID number for repairs, technicians and office staff can
finally speak the same language.
